The plaque is immediately East of Welzerstrooss road; there is a wall of shrubbery, which the actual plaques are on.  It is approximately 150 meters north of the intersection of N325 and N324 on the west cliff wall.

Monument
This memorial has three separate components. The centerpiece is the dedication to the deaths of 1st Lieutenant Jesse P. Sweat and Corporal Leonard A. Deluga. The two were killed in action as they drove their Jeep into a German ambush on September 10, 1944. Their actions are described on the plaque in both English and Luxembourgish. The plaque itself is metal and is mounted against a backdrop of shrubbery. It was dedicated in 1986. Two field stones painted with military insignias of the 28th Infantry Division flank the plaque. Both Sweat and Deluga were members of 109th Infantry Regiment, 29th Infantry Division.
