Mounted to the church wall, to the right of the memorial to the three Americans KIA. Commemorative Object


A metal information sign.

The sign details the liberation of Cunel by the 60th Infantry Regiment, 5th Infantry "Red Diamonds" Division in October 1918 and the fighting nearby in the Val Dunois Sector.  The information sign also includes detailed information on LT (Major) Samuel Woodfill (60th Infantry, 5th Infantry Division, Medal of Honor) and CPT Charles Harris (6th Engineers, 3rd Infantry Division, DSC).
