Located in the open lot just outside the barracks. Just northwest of the observation post.  Combat Vehicle The memorial is a preserved M60 A3 Main Battle Tank, introduced by the U.S. Army in 1960. The "M60 Patton," as it is also called, was used by both U.S. forces as well as NATO forces during the Cold War. This one has been preserved as a historical display at Point Alpha. It is one of several jeeps, armored vehicles, and helicopters on display at Point Alpha.
