Picardie Museum of Resistance and Deportation

Details:

The museum is located on the NE side of the Place de Carnegie. The entrance is on the south side of the building facing toward the Place. Museum The red brick museum was opened in 1986 by founder Etienne Drumas. Today it is managed by the Association of Friends of the Museum and Association President Ferdinand le Blanc. Part of the museum is dedicated to the Allied forces and liberation of the area. Exhibits related to American involvement in the region include military artifacts such as weapons, uniforms, and documents, as well as dioramas and maps. All museum information is available in French and English, with Dutch text included on several displays as well.
