Details:
In the woods northeast of town. From the town war memorial, take the route de Barisseuse up the hill, follow it around to the right when it turns into the allee de la Chapelle. Stop at the intersection and hike to the edge of the woodline at the adjacent field.

A small concrete marker inscribed with the four members of a B-24 (42-95280) "Sunon Square Dance" crew who lost their lives when the plane crashed at the spot. Four crew members successfully evaded and two were take prisoner.
