Monument Text:
The metal plaque displays the Units emblem in the left-hand corner. It is written in English only. The text reads:
On December 18, 1944,
from this house, PFC Mason Armstrong
bazooka man of F Co. 119th Regiment
30th Infantry Division
knocked out two German half-tracks
of the SS Kampfgruppe Peiper
and so stopped the forward spearhead
of Hitler's great attack on Antwerp.
For this heroic action, he received the
Distinguished Service Cross.
