Navel Monument at Gibralter

Details:

The entrance to a British Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery.  Monument A masonry arch, on the one side are two bronze seals of the United States and the Department of the Navy. On the other side, text in gold leaf.  Constructed of the stone from the neighboring "Rock," the monument commemorates the achievements of the United States Navy in the nearby waters and its comradeship with the British Royal Navy during World War I.  Erected in 1932, this site was built and is maintained by the American Battle Monuments Commission.
