Rue Hildevert Lefevre, over the Vesle River Commemorative Object

Crossing the Vesle River in Fismes is the U.S. 28th Division Memorial Bridge.  The Bridge was erected in 1927 by the State of Pennsylvania to replace an earlier bridge destroyed in WWI and to remember those who died in the 28th Division.

This bridge has been erected by the state of Pennsylvania as a tribute to the heroic service and notable achievement of the 28th Division American Expeditionary Forces 1927
