The isolated burial of George Aubrey in the family tomb of VIETTE-CITERNE.  Viette is George Aubrey’s wife’s family name. 

Aubrey served in WW1 in the Volunteer Ambulance Corps and in WW2 in the French Resistance (Surcouf Group).

 Norbert Aubrey, George’s eldest son in also buried there.  He was a member of the maquis group that George commanded.
