In the Hotel National des Invalides The French Army museum contains some displays honoring American service in their World Wars Department.  In the WWI display are two American uniforms and a recruiting poster.  In the WWII diplay in the Leclerc Exhibition Room (the 3rd floor) is a display on the US role in the Pacific, including a model of a US aircraft carrier and a Navy submariners uniform.   In the June Exhibition room (the 2nd floor) is MacArthur's flag, some panels on North Africa, several display cases of TA-50 items, several rifles and pistols, a light artillery canon, a uniform and equipment display on the Italian campaign, an Infantry first wave Normandy invasion soldier, and a model of a US landing craft.  In the Lattre Exhibition room (the 1st floor) is a Browning machinegun, and M60 mortar, a B-17 ball turret, Patton's goggles, a Bulge uniform, a USMC Okinawa display case with uniform, flame thrower, and medical kit, and a panel on the Provence invasion.
