14-18 Nantillois Museum
Details:
The museum is located just west of the 315th Infantry Regiment Memorial on La Grande Rue. It is approximately 60 m northwest of the Pennsylvania American Memorial Fountain.
MuseumThe museum is dedicated to the men who fought in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive, which lasted from September 26 to November 11, 1918, and is largely focused on the American participation in World War I. More than one million American soldiers (Doughboys) came to France to take part in the fight. The collection is composed of relics, dioramas, uniforms, weapons, and personal items and tells the stories behind them. Part of the museum is dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
