By the side of the rue Saint Blaise.
Three stone rectangles, one with a sundial scultpture and the other two with plaques, all three in an area marked off by low walls and small stone pillars.

C'est dans ce champ appartenant a M. Roger Coquerelpar 49.00.54 Nord et 1.16.08 Est a l'altitude de 131 metres au dessus du niveau de la mer que le ballon libre Americain Double Eagle II a atterit le 12 aout 1978 a 19H49 avec pour equipage Ben Abruzzo, Maxi Anderson, Larry Newman, accomplissant ainsi la premiere traversee de l'atlantique nord et le record du monde absolu de distance soit de Presque ile (Maine) USA a Miserey (Eure) France. 5001,22 km en 37 heures et 6 minutes de vol.

It was in this field, belonging to Mr Roger Coquerelpar, at 49.00.54 North and 1.16.08 East at an altitude of 131 meters above sea level that the US balloon Double Eagle II landed on August 12th 1978 at 19H49. The crew was composed of Ben Abruzzo, Maxi Anderson, Larry Newman, who accomplished the first North Transatlantic flight and set the distance world record from Presque Ile, Maine, USA to Miserey, Eure, France or 5001,22 km in 37h6min of flight time.
