General Robert T. Frederick Statue

Located to the southeast of the Operation Anvil Dragoon monument.

Statue

A life-sized bronze statue of Major General Robert T. Frederick, depicted in full World War II combat uniform with a steel helmet bearing two stars. It is set on a white square pedestal fitted with three black rectangular plaques inscribed with his name, rank, and wartime commands. The statue, created by Barbara Ballester, is cast in 380 kg of high-quality bronze containing over 91% copper. Standing 1.70 m tall, it was unveiled on August 14, 2024, for the 80th anniversary of the Provence landings.
